Now there's the new PaperPort Professional 14, which gives you virtually unlimited document capture and access. With the new PaperPort Anywhere online service, you can access your files anytime, anywhere and from any computer or web-enabled mobile device. PaperPort Anywhere is seamlessly integrated with PaperPort Professional 14, providing effortless access to the folders and files of your choice. This service is free - including apps for iPhones, iPads, Android™ smartphones and tablets, and up to 1 GB of storage for your data.

 Challenge for the customer

The name of the game in the office is efficient customer service - there's no doubt about that. When customers call with a question about an invoice or a project, you need instant access to all the relevant information. Most offices still work primarily with paper documents.

Accessing, approving and combining paper with digital documents can be time-consuming, not to mention the demands of paper archiving. As such, many organizations are striving to become more efficient with paper in order to save time and money and make content more accessible.

In this transition process, paper capture and document management software plays a very crucial role by reconciling paper and digital processes. Every day, companies receive data from all points of the compass in a multitude of places. In turn, a wide variety of functions are distributed across a company's many branches, departments and offices: Sales, customer service, support, file management, complaints, etc. Each of these departments is a hub through which all business data must flow freely: to orders, complaints, deliveries and projects, to order fulfillment, scheduling and other business processes.

With PaperPort, you can organize all documents centrally and go paperless. In conjunction with a scanner, you can scan any paper document directly into PDF or JPG formats and view over 150 file and image formats.

File management is also quick and easy with PaperPort: documents are automatically filed, can be retrieved at the drop of a hat and distributed with the click of a mouse. All documents are displayed as large, easy-to-read thumbnails: You know immediately what's inside without opening them. And when you scan the files into PDF format, you can share them with business partners or colleagues at any time - regardless of program, platform or operating system.

What's so special about PaperPort?

PaperPort does two things better than Windows® alone: scan paper documents and handle PDF documents. That doesn't mean you have to sacrifice the rest of the handy features that Windows® has to offer with PaperPort. PaperPort integrates them, making it a better document desktop solution. You can keep your documents organized and work efficiently at all times - all in one easy-to-use application.

The new version 14, and within it especially PaperPort Anywhere, extends this concept beyond Windows® by making the cloud available to do what is described here on any device. All your documents - scanned and digital - can now be accessed from any PC, Macintosh, iPhone®, iPad® or Android™.

What's so special about PaperPort Anywhere?

When we developed PaperPort Anywhere, we specifically thought about PaperPort users. After all, they have already set up smart document processes with the software, often for years. PaperPort Anywhere integrates seamlessly with the PaperPort 14 desktop and automatically makes its folders available to the cloud.

Once the connection is established, everything you do on the PaperPort desktop is also accomplished in PaperPort Anywhere. This makes it easy to get into the cloud without having to change any structures that have already been created. Once files are in the cloud, they can be opened, viewed and distributed from any device, regardless of location. That is enormously practical!

And if other cloud services are already in use?

PaperPort is also suitable for users who are already using the cloud, as it provides a straightforward connection. To this end, it includes the "Nuance Cloud Connector" already introduced with OmniPage 18, which allows PDF documents to be scanned, viewed and edited in other cloud services as well.

The connector gives direct access to cloud services such as Google® text & Tables™, Windows® Live SkyDrive®, Box.net and others. It is ideal as a solution if you use the cloud only occasionally for document storage, your folders do not contain a particularly large number of documents, and the organizational structure differs from that of your PC.

  • Computer with Intel Pentium-compatible or newer processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 700 MB of free hard disk space for application files. Additional hard disk space is required for Microsoft®.NET Framework 4 and the other prerequisite components, if not already installed
  • 1024 x 768 pixel screen resolution with at least 16-bit color setting (High Color)
  • Windows®-compatible pointing device

With the legally binding Uteil of the Federal Court of 11.12.2014 with the file number: IZR 8/1 /3, we violate with our offer no rights of third parties & thus do not violate any principles, with the software is a single-user licensing from a volume contract takeover, a registration to an ID is therefore not possible. You can activate the product, use it without restrictions and also get updates etc., but you cannot register it.
